Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 January 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Lex Humanitas ("we", "our", or "the Service") collects, uses, and stores information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when you use the Lex Humanitas service (“Service”), including:

  • Account information
Such as email address and authentication identifiers when signing in via Google Sign-In or other supported authentication methods.
  • Audio recordings
Voice recordings that you voluntarily submit for transcription and analysis.
  • Text content
Text, transcriptions, or contextual descriptions you submit for analysis.
  • Analysis results
Generated analytical outputs, including summaries, detected risks, flags, and metadata related to analysis runs.
  • Usage data
Information about how you interact with the Service, including timestamps, feature usage, and request counts.
  • Device and technical data
Such as device type, operating system version, application version, and anonymized diagnostic information.

We do not collect precise location data or access personal files outside of the content explicitly provided by you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • To perform audio transcription and text analysis requested by you
  • To generate and display analysis results
  • To manage subscriptions, quotas, and usage limits
  • To improve system reliability, performance, and accuracy
  • To detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations

We do not sell user data and do not use submitted content for advertising purposes.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Data retention follows clear and deterministic rules:

  • Audio recordings and raw text
Retained only as long as necessary to complete processing and deliver results, unless explicitly saved by the user.
  • Analysis results and history
Retention duration depends on the user’s subscription tier and service configuration.
  • Account data
Retained until the user deletes their account or requests deletion.
  • Logs and technical records
Stored for a limited time for security, debugging, and operational purposes.

When you delete your account, all associated personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

4. Data Storage and Security

We apply industry-standard security practices, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Restricted access to production systems
  • Segregation of processing workers and databases
  • Authentication and authorization controls
  • Monitoring for unauthorized access or abuse

Despite these measures, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate the Service, we rely on trusted third-party providers:

  • AI / transcription services
Used solely to process content submitted by the user for analysis.
  • Google Authentication
    For secure user sign-in.
  • Google Play Billing
    For subscription and payment processing.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers
For hosting, storage, and backend operations.

Each third-party service processes data according to its own privacy policy. We encourage users to review those policies independently.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your analysis history
  • Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.

8. International Data Processing

Your data may be processed on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using the Service, you consent to such processing, which may involve jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
